Revelation 14:10 By: Chris McCann Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Why in the world would God speak of the patience of the saints in the middle of a discussion of His judgment upon this world? Its only now that the child of God can answer this question: the answer is that the trying of our faith develops patience (James 1:3); and simultaneous with the Lords punishing of the unsaved people of the world He is trying the faith of all that say they are His people. It is now, during these days after that tribulation that the Lords people have a need of patience. Right now at this time as we live in the Day of Judgment.
