Revelation3:7-8 These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut and what he shuts no one can open: I know your deeds, see, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut-------before the opening of a new door the old one must be shut, the reason being that its easy to run back to the old way of doing things when the new way is full of challenges. The reason God closed the red sea after the Israelites had crossed over is because he knew that the new door would be full of challenges n his people would be tempted to go back, to Egypt so he closed the door. With God God once you enter the ocean, you must continue to swim even when you come across big sharks. The sharks are not there to kill you, they are there to refine n purify you, until you shine as a diamond. "Do not be afraid to enter through that door, go through that door, for I am with you says the Lord".
