Road Safety Week, organised by Brake New Zealand and supported by St John, comes to a close tomorrow - but its worth remembering that road safety is a year-round concern: In 2013 St John ambulance officers attended 13,993 motor vehicle crashes from a total of over 350,000 incidents attended during the year (excluding Patient Transport Services). Compared to the previous year, traffic and transportation incidents were up in 2013 by 1.6% (or 227 more incidents). Learn how to be safer on our roads by visiting brake.org.nz
