Running brings me pure joy.. among other things that bring me joy: my children, my lover and my sport... mixed up in order depending on the time of day (is that safe to say?). Today... my run down a sandy water washed arroyo was what I needed. Simply because I could do it. I will always remind myself that I have an ability to run, when there are many who cannot because of many reasons. That is why - when I feel joy...I want to share it in hopes of it becoming contagious to others to find small joy in their day - whether it is a stick bug, a scenic run, a heartfelt hug, a great song with a spontaneous dance in your kitchen, a cold pillow in a hot night or a tail- wagging dog. Sounds like a song I know... these are a few of my favourite things....when the dog bites, when the bee stings....I simply remember my favourite things.... I wish you - your favourite things.
