We are pleased to inform Imperial Barbeque / Chief Cook: Jorge Rodriguez that you have qualified to participate in the 28th Annual American Royal World Series of Barbecue® Invitational Contest The American Royal Invitational Contest, presented by KC Masterpiece, will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Kansas City. The attached Invitation must be filled out and submitted to the American Royal no later than July 1, 2015. In addition to returning the Invitation, all Invitational teams must also enter and pay for the American Royal Open Contest. Submitting a completed Invitation, making application, paying for and securing a spot in the Open Contest before all spaces are filled is the only way to ensure a spot at the 2015 American Royal World Series of Barbecue® Invitational Contest. Open applications will be available at americanroyal spring 2015. Please note - The team eligible and entered to compete in the KC Masterpiece Invitational Contest at the American Royal MUST be the same team and Chief Cook who won the qualifying contest. Only the documented Grand Champion combination will be invited. No pass downs will be accepted.
