There had been a surge of it. But not on women. Students (all male, from different schools) fighting, threw acid on random people on a passing bus. Two men fighting, one threw acid on the other. A musician on stage, somebody threw acid on his face as he went backstage. Its about hatred, jealousy, lack of compassion, cowardice. The tool can be acid, guns, knife, any weapon. Anyway, thanks to a post in this page a while back, which inspired a friend of mine to contact local government to address the issue. Hopefully some law will come out of it.
