SAINT LUCIA LABOUR PARTY [ESTABLISHED SINCE 1950] For Immediate Release August 16, 2013 More SLP Conferences The Saint Lucia Labour Party’s work of strengthening its internal structure continues as it prepares to host two more constituency conferences this weekend. On Sunday 18 August 2013 the Castries South Constituency Group holds its conference at the Ciceron R.C Combined at 4:00pm under the theme “Keeping Saint Lucia in the Right Hands”. The Guest Speaker will be Deputy Prime Minister and First Deputy Political Leader of the Labour Party, Honorable Philip J. Pierre who is also the Parliamentary Representative for Castries East. On the same day, August 18, in the South of the country the Laborie Constituency Group will host its conference under the theme “Labour taking St. Lucia to a Higher Plane of Development” at the Laborie Boys Primary School commencing at 3:00 pm. Laborie has chosen as its Guest Speaker Senate President, Senator Claudius Francis. The Saint Lucia Labour Party invites its supporters along the length and breadth of the island to turn out in support of both of the conferences. End.
