[SCAM ALERT] Received a call two days back from so called AmBank saying that Ive just swap a transaction of RM6K ++ at KLIA Poh Kong. When I told him that it wasnt me who buy those stuff and I dont even own a Ambank credit card, he start to ask alot of questions on possibilities of my IC got copied by others and etc. He sounds so real when he disclosed so much details about me which makes me think that it was real. I told him that Im gonna make a police report at nearby police station first but he said it wasnt necessary. He then ask me to immediately lodge a report to Bank Negara with given number 03-2788 4901 by him. After the conversation, I felt something wrong and I called directly to AmBank HQ from the office number I get through Google. Then only I was told it was a PHISHING SCAM!!! {BEWARE} as they sounds so real and professional with all those auto-telephone conversation. *And this morning I was told that, one of my colleagues mom got scammed RM3800 through this same technique and call. And so I decided to post it up here. Please SHARE around and be ALERT! Be CALM and THINK when you received such a calls.
