SCLancerNation Feature: SCLancer Success! Dylan Furrier and Jack Dobyns. Lancers4Life Dylan Furrier and Jack Dobyns both play for the Chaldron State Eagles. Founded in 1911 in Chadron, Nebraska, the Eagles are a Division II program. Dylan was a Southern Arizona All-Star in the 2010 season where he served as the Lancers linebacker, fullback and punter … He was an honorable mention all-state player in 2009. Dylan is a Sports and recreation management major with a 3.12 GPA. Last year Dylan was named to the RMAC Preseason All-Conference Team and served as a team captain. In 2013, he had a fantastic sophomore campaign and cemented himself as a fixture in the CSC lineup … He finished the season with 75 tackles, second-most on the team, and added seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries … He also broke up two passes … He primarily played as an outside linebacker but has moved to the middle in 2014 … He was placed on the All-RMAC Third Team following the season and also earned a spot on the All-Nebraska D-II team. Jack Dobyns redshirted during his first season at Chadron State. At Salpointe, Jack started three seasons at receiver and was awarded the Zack Morgan Memorial Award. He is the son of former Salpointe Coach Jay Dobyns and holds a 3.36 GPA in criminal justice.
