SECURITY... A timely reminder from REIWA and the WA Ploice Security with commercial and non-commercial premises Police are warning owners and occupiers of commercial and non-commercial premises to be aware of break-ins. They are asking everybody to conduct a check of their security measures to ensure that they do not become an easy target for burglars. Stairwells which have access to the outside of a building should be accessible only to occupiers on each floor. Records of swipe cards issued for restricted entry offices should be updated and maintained to ensure that only those persons who are granted access to offices have control of them. Lost or missing swipe cards should be deactivated as soon as possible. Police are also asking owners and occupiers to be on alert for people entering premises without proper authority, especially where there are storage facilities in the area. If you see anything suspicious please contact Police on 131 444.
