SEE INSPIRATIONS MAGAZINE SALVATION TESTIMONY (TODAY’S TOP STORY) MY SALVATION TESTIMONY- THE SAME GUY THAT MISLED ME WAS THE SAME GUY THAT LED ME BACK TO THE LORD. “My father told me at the age of 9 that there was no God. He said, “forget about God, Jesus or anything like that. There’s nobody coming to help and rescue you.” I grew up like that. My sisters were allowed to go to church, but my father actually didn’t allow me to go to church. He was an atheist and the reason was that he was so maltreated by his father. He believed in his heart, there could not have been a God, for him to have been that badly treated at the age of 8 to like 13. He saw and experienced his father constantly abuse his mother, his sister, and himself. Nobody could convince my father that there was a God. And he preached that to me as a son and I believed because he was my father. Interestingly enough, God still saved him and got him to testify to me about Jesus Christ. So, the same guy that misled me for over 20 years was the same guy that led me back to the Lord. Before then, I was in the United States of America, into all sorts of stuff, and was actually able to own two houses, and another thing was that a lot of time you’ve been blessed, you don’t even realize that God is the only one behind this wonderful life you have. A lot of time when you’re doing very well, you just think that all these things are by your own effort. And with that indoctrination of upbringing that there was no God, you know, there was a tendency to just feel like; “this is my accomplishment” and I tell you how far the Lord took me. He took me into the world of millionaires, billionaires, I had a limousine company and would you believe that my limousine company got so successful that though I started as an ordinary limo driver, I had this racist boss that made me so frustrated but I discovered that adversity is good. That guy pushed me and forced me to prove to him that I could own my own company. And I did it. Out of trying to prove to a white guy, that I could do that thing myself, I ended up owning four limousines, and I had some specialized VIP limousine services. My number one client was Donald Trump; I had Trump for three and half years. Through Trump I met everybody, I met Celine Dion, I met Diana Rose, I met Bill Cosby and all kinds of people. I just had life with the rich and the famous. It was amazing, without salvation, how I was thinking I was doing things by myself. But one other thing I got to know about God is this; when He’s blessed you so much and you have ignored Him for so long, one day He will get your attention. He got my attention….. Today, I can’t stop doing what I was assigned or called to do; which is to continue to let people all over the world know that Jesus is alive, and that He’s real and that He works.” CHAZ B (Culled from SEE INSPIRATIONS MAGAZINE) SEE No matter what you have done or where you have been or what you have heard that distorted your thinking, the same God who saved Chaz B is mighty to save and deliver you so you would serve Him for the rest of your life like Chaz B is doing. Salvation belongs to GOD. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, neither is there salvation in any other (Acts 4:12). It is only by returning and resting in God that we get saved (Isaiah 30:15). He is a merciful God of second chance. He satisfies us early with His mercies (Psalm 90:14)). It is so natural for us to return back to Him whenever we stray away or get stuck in the world, for our times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15a), as well as all we can ever be. We may get so full and forget God but He who declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) is a master planner who actually had it all pre-set for His own glory to see us return back to Him someday (Isaiah 30:18). To return back to God like Chaz B did according to his true life story above, all you need do is to confess your sins. For our merciful God is indeed faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) LET US PRAY: Father God, I believe that you sent your only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins and that you raised Him up again from the dead. Therefore, I come to you in the name of Jesus and by the blood that He shed. Please forgive my sins and accept me as your child today. I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour and I surrender my life to Him. Teach me your ways, Oh Lord. Thank you for saving me and thank you for giving me your grace so I could live for your glory and use my testimony to save and draw men unto you in Jesus name.
