SEEDS OF DESTINY. (21/08/2014) PASTOR DR. PAUL ENENCHE TOPIC: SOW THE SEED OF KINDNESS SCRIPTURE: Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering. Col 3:12 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Kindness increases favour and hardness decreases favour. Kindness is a favour-provoking character that opens doors and gives favour. Kindness increases favour and hardness decreases favour. The kindness being referred to is interest in other people’s welfare. When you are a person that is interested in the welfare of others, your favour will increase. When you have no interest in the welfare of others, your favour will decrease. When you are interested in meeting another person’s needs, you will never lack favour. That was what Joseph did in the prison when he saw the need of the baker and butler. He saw that they looked worried and troubled, and he asked them what their problem was. In our generation today, we see our neighbours looking sad and we don’t care. We see somebody sitting in the Church looking sad and depressed, and we don’t even care. When you sow the seed of goodness and kindness, anytime you are agitated, troubled or have problems, God will send people to handle your problems in the same way you have sown the seed of handling another person’s problem. I believe that in the places where we work, we would have more success if we release this godly character. Kindness means not just being good to people, but exceeding their expectations. Anywhere you are working, anytime you get an opportunity to do something for somebody, don’t just meet people’s expectations, give them beyond what they are capable of imagining. God anoints that kind of action and will open doors that will take you to another level. Exceed the expectation of your boss, wife, husband, employees and organisation. And when you do that consistently, there is no devil hatched from hell that can stop your rise; there is no devil calculated, organised, orchestrated from anywhere that can stop your destiny. Remember this: Kindness increases favour and hardness decreases favour. ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Go an extra mile and show kindness to those who are not members of your household. 2.
