SENDING AN EAGLE BACK HOME FOR THE CHRISTMAS!! Okay, for all of my friends in the Valley and Western Virginia who have wanted to attend an eagle release, but the releases have been were so far away, here is your chance!! On Tuesday, December 23, I will be releasing a bald eagle at Natural Chimneys Regional Park, in Augusta County, at 11:00 a.m. We are sending this eagle back home for Christmas! The kids are out of school, so bring the whole family. This event is open to the public, at no charge, so you have no excuses if you live anywhere from Roanoke to Winchester to Richmond.....or beyond. Lets make it a party! We are expecting mild temperatures and only a small chance of rain, but well be there, rain or shine. See the details below.
