SL-AAP-STICK Statistics ;-) One of my Leftist and a diehard #AAP supporter friend told me some relevant facts... #BJP got just 31% votes. That means 69% Indians were against it. So the division of Anti-BJP and secular votes was the real reason for the BJP win and not any Modi wave. So I too had some extremely relevant statistics for him: 1] BJP + Allies [NDA] got almost 40%. That makes it less intimidating. 2] Who all would have formed alliances to defeat the Communal BJP ? Maya + Mulayam + Congress + AAP in UP ? Lalu + Nitish + Congress + AAP in Bihar ? Congress + AAP in Delhi ? DMK + AIDMK + Congress in Tamilnadu ? Congress + JD [U] in Karnataka ? Congress + Mamta + Left + AAP in West Bengal ? Abdulla + Congress + PDP in Kashmir ? 3] If against vote share is taken as the criteria to decide a partys popularity, what about Aam Aadmi Party ? They got less than 3% votes, which meant over 97% of India voted against AAP. 4] You said, AAP got 1 Crore votes in first attempt: But as early as January 2014, Arvind Kejriwal had claimed AAP had achieved more than 1 Crore Membership. This meant just one thing: Other than your members, NOBODY voted for AAP. Bitter but true ! 5] Finally, our parliamentary system has ALWAYS been first-past the post wins model. Apart from the Sympathy Wave Rajiv Gandhi of 1984, no party ever has come anywhere near even 50% vote share. After my fifth point, my friend said, Enough, I made a mistake talking some bitter truth to a NaMoron. No use. You guys will forever remain in shit and walked out... ! The End 3:)
