SDAH 183 I Will Sing of Jesus’ Love I will sing of Jesus’ love, Sing of Him who first loved me; For He left bright worlds above, And died on Calvary. I will sing of Jesus’ love, Endless praise my heart shall give; He has died that I might live- I will sing His love to me. Prayer (1 Minute) Pray for God’s Holy Spirit guidance. Study (3 Mins.) Rom. 2:4“Or despises thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” Have you ever had a friend whom you have wronged, but still they are still nice to you? Not talking about naivety, but I mean just genuine kindness and love despite the wrong that you have done, as if you never did it? This love is irresistible… This is a heavenly and eternal principle, it was God’s initiative and goodness through the death of Jesus Christ that brings us to reconciliation whilst we were still His enemies! (Rom. 5:8-11) He forgave us! But confession makes us accept and receive His forgiveness to us (1 John 1:9) and because of this goodness from Him, we can forgive because we are forgiven. How can we condemn any one, whilst we have been released from condemnation? We can love because we are SUPER loved! We can choose to forgive despite the intensity of the pain, but because Christ dwells in our heart? I praise the Lord that His love is too contagious, it will even convert our worst enemies!
