STA would like to welcome our Interim Principal, Greg Groth. His primary objective is to help in the hiring process of a new principal, as well as part-time PE/Health and Spanish teachers. Our goal is to fill all three positions before our school year begins in August. Greg has 38 years of educational experience. He spent 13 years teaching Elementary school, 20 years as a teacher/ administrator/coach at Grayslake High School in Illinois….and then 5 years as Principal at Catholic Central High School. He is very excited to work with St. Thomas parents, parishioners, and staff. and is very confident we will be able to hire some dynamic individuals that will be difference makers at St. Thomas Aquinas School for years to come.
