STATUS ON DOLE CASE FILED BY GLYZA CAGATA ET AL. Glyza Cagata & Rizalina Suarez filed a case of Illegal Dismissal against Benjamin Eugenio Jr. at DOLE early this year (NCR-02-01683-14- Decision). Background: Respondent Eugenio terminated Cagata and Suarez on January 28, 2014 on alleged ground of dishonesty, falsification and assault. DOLE Decision: 1) Complainants were lawfully terminated from their employment; 2) No qualifying circumstances to grant damages & attorney’s fees except payment of service incentive leave pay of eighteen pesos (P18) per month; 3) Case dismissed.
