SUNDAY SERMON (I BELIEVE IN YOU) Just because I don’t believe in God anymore doesn’t mean that I don’t believe in you. In fact, according to the Bible, I have one heck of a lot more faith, trust, and hope for you than God seems to. To me, you are full of potential with the ability to harness your life for the good of yourself, your family, and society. I’d love to see you follow your dreams and find true contentment, peace, and happiness in this life, here today - to live your life to the fullest! God on the other hand? Well, it appears that he made you broken to begin with so that you could spend your life asking to be fixed under the threat and fear of an eternal doom. It appears that he doesn’t really believe in you or want what is best for you, he just wants you to fall into line and do his will, to play the part of a broken slave, praising his mater in a private snuff film for an audience of one. This is your choice, not mine. I have no problem with Christians. Aside from a few that have rejected me because of my loss of faith, most of my closest friends are still Christians. Unlike God, they can hear my cheers for their accomplishments and they can feel my hugs in their times of need. No strings attached. I believe in you. Do you? - Horus Gilgamesh
