Sad news everybody. Ed Barnard, creator of the Doommantia blog has passed away. If anybody has followed Ed Barnards career, theyll know how tough the last few years had been for him and also how much the stoner rock community banded together in support of him to try to improve his situation. As somebody who aims to become a journalist myself, I looked up to Ed, especially in my early years of getting into the scene. His legacy will carry on through his creation at doommantia I can think of no better tribute to him than simply to post the following song and just be happy that hes no longer suffering.
