Sad news today. Mickey Rooney and John Pinette both died today. Mickey Rooney was of course a legendary actor. I watched a ton of his movies growing up and I had the pleasure of meeting him several years ago. Many people dont realize what a huge star he was in his prime. John Pinette was a really great comedian. I am a big fan of stand up comedy and he is one of the first comedians I remember watching when I was a kid. My Dad was a huge fan. The last road trip I had with my Dad I brought comedy cds of his 3 favorite comics Sam Kinison, Brian Regan, and John Pinette. Our favorite bit was the bit he did about the Chinese buffet in Vegas. We used to work You go now! You be here four hour! You scare my wife! into conversion whenever we could. Im disappointed that I never got the chance to see him perform live.
