Sanyu FM News Police has deployed officers at Makerere University, following a terrorist threat at the Higher Institution of Learning. According to the Deputy Police spokesperson, Polly Namaye, a student of the University was offered 15 million shillings to deliver a mysterious envelope to the university. Police officers under the Counter terrorism squad are investigating the incident and have deployed at the university. This comes at a time that the country is already at a heightened sense of alertness, following recent terror alerts.
