School Mum Jenni has asked: Hi there, I am after some advice. My 5 year old daughter is in her first year at school and has started telling me she doesnt want to do sports at school. When I asked her why she told me its because they play a running game and the last one back must sit out. She is the smallest in the class and unfortunately always comes last. I have tried to encourage her and tell her it doesnt matter but she still gets upset. What do other mums think, should sport in prep be so competitive? I dont know if I should speak to her teacher about it. Thanks
