Scouting for AP’s capital Andhra Pradesh will have an ad-hoc capital which will house key administrative offices until all the infrastructure and other projects are completed in the capital city. The new capital will be unique and have a 60% share of flora and fauna. There will be equal distribution of social infrastructure facilities like schools and hospitals. We have asked the Advisory Committee members to study the pros and cons of Indian cities like Chandigarh, New Raipur, Navi Mumbai and Gandhinagar. The committee will also take cues from South East Asia, Europe, China, Japan, Korea and the Middle East.
