Searching for guidance (not donations or attacks) please. I know a young man, 18 years old, very very smart. High school graduate. Didnt get to go to college because his application was incomplete due to is parents lack of timely filing of tax returns - which likely are still not complete. Even if he were to get by that aspect, he has no transportation. He has no vehicle, does not live near public transportation, cannot get a job because of the area that his family lives in (without wheels), and all the money that he earns by doing odd jobs and such goes to the family for electric bills and groceries - over $1,000 the past few months. I dont see a way out of this never ending cycle for him. What, if any agencies or programs, exist to help him get out and better himself so that he can continue his education and not follow the same path as his parents?
