Fasting Project The Holy month of Ramadan 1435 Introduction: People in Aleppo live in a difficult human condition because of continual fighting and shelling and brutal systematic massacres of random shelling of bombing barrels to destroy the freed areas of the city. As a result, most people become unable to gain money and food, and elements of life are rare to get. The budget of the project: Offering about 60000 breakfast meals, (1) American dollars for each, in the holy month of Ramadan. The name of the project Fasting People Type relief Place Eastern Aleppo A simple description of the city Aleppo is located at the eastern north of Syria, and it is a border city to Turkey. It is considered one of the biggest cities of Syria as for space and population, which is /6/ million, and it is also considered to be the economical capital of Syria. Aleppo suffers from a difficult human situation as other Syrian freed cities due to last events in the country. Most people in freed areas of Aleppo suffer from a severe poverty and a difficulty in buying their needs because of the systematic and continual shelling of bombing barrels, which caused a great group evacuation of people. The problem the project aims to solve The disability of people to provide the breakfast meals in Ramadan due to the difficult conditions people are experiencing in Aleppo city because of the continual shelling of bombing barrels and people displacement from their home. Importance and priority of the project This project is considered to be one from an important projects: - Severe poverty of most people in Aleppo. - Many families are without providers. - Severe shelling of bombing barrels in Aleppo and families displacement from their home. - Making fasting worship easy for poor and needy people. - Pursuing what our messenger (PBUH) urges us to do Aim Distributing daily /2000/ breakfast meals to martyrs, orphans, and poor families of Aleppo during the holy month of Ramadan. Sub aims 1. Making fasting people pleased in such difficult circumstances. 2. People sufficiency from destitution in the holy month. 3. Employing groups of society in cooking and distribution in order to end their unemployment. 4. Spreading and transmitting social solidarity. Target group of people 1. Orphans families 2. Poors, martyrs, and handicapper’s families. 3. The cadres of field hospitals and schools. Period A month (Ramadan) The implementing agency ability for directing implementing the project The institution carried out (Feeding Fasting People Project) in Ramadan of the past year through distributing daily 2000 meals and making group-meals in mosques. The project covers almost all Aleppo freed-areas and about (19) villages of the countryside, in addition to cadres of (11) hospitals and teachers of some schools.
