#Self~Lift. Hi, hope youre superb in spirit and having a defining moment always. Welcome to Defining Moment With Ojobe. Topic for this week is #Self~Lift. Day 1~ Today is the last day of june, time remains the same, but our mind will adjust to the change of another new month, shaping our activities. This is for those who see change and possibility as far-fetched. Note that our mind is a powerful God-designed device capable of absorbing fear, embracing possibilities, injecting ideas and unlocking powers into action. Be active friend. Day 2~ When I was a lad, my father once said to me; Son, the shortest man in the world is not the dwarf in our midst but one who stands while his potential lies so low. Notwithstanding friend, stand up with your infinite potentials and lead. Be a giant always, remembering that in the realm of successful living giants are not those whose physical look are like iroko tree, but those whose spirit, attitude of the mind and kama to succeed in life are too hot to accommodate self doubt, mediocrity and failure. Oh! be swift to be a giant. Day 3~ You got in you, God-giving fabulous purpose, the power and privilege to bless your life and lives of those around you. So, dont dream small, play small or waste your time and resources competing to be like someone else, when its obvious that in life, you can only be the successful best of you or a failure copy cart of someone elses destiny. The world is too big to accommodate all the best in you you could become. And the present is capable of burying your ugly past for you to start again courageously and live flying higher. You must admit your weakness and your mess first. Dont say youre finished. Then, give light to your thought and actions, and move on.( I have a picture-quote on this, you can request for it). Day 4~ Dont make your life a hive of pity and sympathy and think that the world will come to your aid. The world is not interested in knowing how well you are doing but how well you have made it. People are interested in the result and not in the plan you have on ground. Give in to your daily challenges to beat yourself up, better than you were yesterday. We are all work in progress. And consistent self improvement, is a defining moment of every winner. Day 5~ Success is universal. What you are enjoying today is someones legacy. Therefore, dont be selfish, give your best to enrich your life and lives of those around you. It may interest you to know that any success you achieve enriches not only you but others also, in one way or the other. So, if you are thinking of impacting peoples live positively, also think of becoming successful. Day 6~ To me, grave yard is an invisible museum of wonderful ideas and beautiful dreams selfishly and lazily left untapped and buried with men and women, who fail to realize that all they lived with and the yard they were laid to rest, was someones ideas and dreams realized. And someone would say hmmm, but the fact is that many are already living the foot steps of those we blame. Busy living in their past glory and showing off the little they have achieved, living behind all they could do to better their lives and lives of those around them. To me, Ojobe, there is no parking lot for a success slot. Therefore, You may need a pull from where u have stamped and not a push, to get going. Day 7~ Why we dont get results most times is that we tell people about our problems, dreams and plans than we tell God about. And one thing about telling people than you tell God about your problems is that in most cases, the people you tell, assume God is on it, and all they could do is to wish you all the best.
