In connection with the guest lecture series initiated by the Department of City and Regional Planning, UET, Lahore, a seminar on “Planning System in Australia with focus on New South Wales” is scheduled to be held on Monday 8 th December, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Seminar Hall of CRP Department, UET, Lahore. Mr. Sohail Faridy would be the resource person. Mr. Sohail Faridy is former graduate of CRP Department from 84-session. After doing Masters in Urban Planning and Environmental Management from Hong Kong University, he moved to Australia and worked at planning authorities in various capacities. Currently, he is Coordinator Development Assessment at Holroyd City Council, NSW, Australia with over 15 years of specialist experience in planning law, strategic planning and assessment of development applications. All the faculty members, professional town planners, PhD/MSc scholars, BSc final year and third year students of the CRP department are cordially invited to participate.
