September 20, 2014 A Day Before the 17th Anniversary Celebration of The Way UMC: This is the video presentation during the day of the celebration. Part of the presentation (in the last two minutes) is the visit of our Bishop Rudy Juan with his cabinet riding an improvised boat, giving words of encouragement, handing the relief, and praying for the victims of the flood brought by typhoon Mario. Note: Last year, Bishop Juan is The Way UMC Guest Preacher for the banquet style of their 16th anniversary celebration (complete with round dining tables inside the sanctuary, distribution of Evangelism Signing Pen for the 300 attendees and the launching of the Heartwarming Bracelets for the past pastors assigned to The Way UMC). Bishop Juan also prayed for The Way UMCs Youth Center. The same youth center now serves as evacuation center for victims of calamities and disasters. From Undoy to Habagat to Mario, The Way consistently invite victims of calamities and disasters to The Way UMC Youth Center. It serves as learning center as well for Alternative Learning System.
