Several Rocket launches against Israel today View image: direct hit Another rocket hit a house in Sderot under construction no one was hurt physically. I have been in 2 rocket attacks so far today. No one hurt in those. First was 8am and then for some hours things were quiet, so I went to the beach to chill. Let me describe it to you... Very few people on the beach, and it is August and theres no school and its a Friday which is basically a day off for many or most of the population. Even so, only a few of us went out to enjoy the fresh sea breeze. The water was warm and absolutely WONDERFUL! i must have been in the water for an hour and a half straight it was soooo good! Then, to disturb the lulling of the waves I hear RED ALERT siren going wooooooo-wooooooo ....and then the Life guard yells in the microphone, EVERBODY out of the water! There were maybe 10 people in the water, including me. Now as you know, it is kind of hard to get back to shore within 30 seconds and so I just came in as fast as I could and then threw myself onto the sand. Thank G-d, there was no hit above, I have no idea what happened to the rocket/s. But after that, the life guard told everyone no more swimming. Everyone go home!...so I reluctantly did as anyway I had to get back and get ready for the Sabbath. Just another day in Paradise. And believe me for those who know, Ashkelon IS Paradise.
