Several days ago, I read a post from a young Facebook friend showing the number of days sine the 911 attack, and the implication that we should get over it. I had to think about this a while before responding. Apologies if this is less than a gentile response, but I find this remark insulting at the very least. I should remind my young friend that you were not really here during the 911 attacks. 5,000 of our citizens were murdered in a day that will forever effect your future. You dont remember a day without homeland security. You dont remember a day without fear of attack at home. You dont remember a day where our economy was strong and vibrant. Basically, your comments disrespect the memory of thousands if American families and their pain and suffering at the hands of butchers. Additionally, you are of military selective service age and you should be concerned. (Yes, this means you are a candidate for the draft if Uncle Sam wants you). Perhaps you should not try to forget about 911, but rather understand the implications 911 has and will continue to have on your life...now, and at the age when you finally get a clue....that is all
