Shahid (Film) - The Review Although we dont put many reviews on this page , except on those movies , which r powerful , patriotic or have the ability to shake the society to contemplate . Shahid is Based on Slained human activist lawyer Shahid azmi , who was close aid of prashant bhushan and won sevaral cases of the innocent accused of terrorism, his life, his fight ,and his love for indian judicary , and at last his passion for his country. Shahid started his journey from joining a terrorist camp at his teenage years after the bombay riots , then escaping from there after gotto know the true intention of terrorism ,later getting jailed for 5 years in falsely alleaged terrorism links , his studies in jail, afterwards quitting his high paid job to become an human activist lawyer. The Remarkable story of a man , who just been learnt to be helpful , without any intention to get rich or famous , to serve the humanity was his only deed Note the sequence when a dreaded gangster calls him a gaddar on phone , and shahid replies him wht u think u r ....deshbhakt ??? Film depicts his grt faith in indian judicary.. when he says ,judicary has been made to decide what is done by a accused and what police finds in it Kudos to Anurag Kashyap to release such a brave film , hansal mehta take a bow , and UTV for yet another Rang de basanti and satyagraha In the end , thankyou shahid azmi to fight for us, to become an stand out soldier of indian judicary , sadly you were killed just at 32,but some where u might have been watching us , and the changes that r taking place in the country he took the bold path , that many ppl were scared to take , somebody has to serve those innocent accused , that his way to serve his country , and he did it with full honesty.
