Sharing again, now that I have read this. It has been my consistent experience that most Christians who take religious exception are all too willing to be martyrs when they have to pay, or are losing something; but that they are very quiet and willing to forgo morals and ethics when they are being paid, or gaining something. As an employee, I generally read retirement offers, and opt out of ones heavily invested in prisons, arms, and pharmaceuticals. So I know that the Hobby Lobby family absolutely knew what they were banking up retirement money ON. My reaction is this: you are willing to make profit from the sales, but withhold your employees ability to purchase it for medical necessity, based on Christian morals. This is not some liberal magazine attacking the Christian Right. This is why people who used to be in the Christian Right become liberals. Like me, they have had enough of those kinds of Christian morals.
