EDUCATION: BA (Hons.),MA in Social Welfare, LL.B (Dhaka University), Certificate Course on Disaster Studies (1995), from the Oxford Center for Disasters Studies(OCDS), Oxford University, UK EXPERIENCE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS International training on Disaster Management, Oxford University, UK .Travelled to many countries including USA, Europe, Australia, also participated in many National/ International meets. I’m a former International Human Rights Expert of United Nations, stationed at Pacific Region (Constitutional Laws related to Civil Rights, Reconciliation, Dispute Resolution as well as Reviewed Constitutions of Papua New Guinea, Autonomous Region of Bougainville and New Zealand Peace Accord, UN Compliances and International laws and integration of Human rights in Constitution. Having Legal expertise at the Bangladesh Supreme Court more than 14 years. Also served as Legal Expert with UNDP and Ministry of Social welfare more than 2.5 years (2005-2007) (child Laws Review/UNCRC) Severed as an honorary Lecturer of Environmental Laws, International Protocols and UN Mandates obligated to each State in Jahangir Nagar University Bangladesh. Beside these severed more than 20 years (1976-1996) as Social Development & Disaster management (conducted many relief and rehabilitation operation in many parts in Bangladesh as Head of operation) expert with different international aid agencies as head of country programs. Also worked with UNHCR at Refugee Camps, Cox’s bazar for Myanmar Influx to Bangladesh during 1985-1991. (looking after safety net ,Emergency shelter, sanitation n protection, Relief coordination). In 2012 and 2014, worked for 2 Evaluation studies as Legal Expert for Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh (ensuring justice at grass root level)- with multi donors like . EU, UNDP, ODA n Govt. of Bangladesh. Me also an active member of Rotary International since 1999, Rotary club of Uttara,RI -3281 , honored to be Paul Harris fellow (PHF).
