Short blog post Untethered + 3D with photos of Untethered landscape. Why 3D? Because many of the paintings split into many dimensions when viewed with 3D glasses. Ive got glasses at the exhibition for people to use. Watching people when they first see a painting with the glasses on is quite something. Invariably the response is Oh WOW! and then How?. Well, its not deliberate, but I like that it happens, because... my paintings explore other dimensions. Every year my optometrist comes to see my exhibition and every year we have a long discussion about how light and colour are received in the eye. I am part way there in explaining the how....
