Project: We intend on building a networking site of like minded people specifically in the homesteading movement of a more self reliant, self sustainable and back to basics lifestyle. We intend on brining educational material, video tutorials, products and services to the homesteading customer. We desire to build a small website with a well rounded google friendly blog to bring articles to our target audience. All videos will be based on our own homestead and abroad and produced and edited by us for uploading to YouTube. We intend on building a base of followers through social media platforms such as Facebook, twitter, YouTube and our blog. Once we have established a good base of subscribers we intend on interacting with our audience through online video conferences with experts in many areas of health, homeschooling, pet health, gardening, canning, building, carpentry lessons and many other self reliant information. We are in need on a independent contractor as a part time basis at first to help us build the website, blog, payment gateway, YouTube channel and other media platforms to then tie in all the monetization aspects of YouTube, affiliate links, advertisement opportunities and social media connections. We have some experience in this area however want to focus more on the making of video content, writing articles for the blog and interacting with our audience and leave the logistics to someone more capable. We are looking for someone who is very organized in the management of such information has the part time availability to work on this project to get things up and running by late fall. As with all start ups funds are limited however are willing to work with you in a monthly or bi weekly draw structure to pace the work based on our budget. We prefer to work with someone who has some homesteading knowledge and directly with the person doing the work. We do not want a large company who will outsource work or hand it over to a team of designers. This is a small start up and would prefer to work with someone who can grow with us.
