Since running 6 months of gymnastics I can see the importance of training balance and air sense. In the first term kids were tweaking ankles and knees every session they hit the trampoline. After 6 weeks of the beam... No more ankle/knee complaints. Any serious strength and conditioning program needs to account for balance and air sense.
