I now await the attacks. >>> I, as a pro union flight attendant, find it ironic that those that believe so steadfastly in the company also seem to believe that the company would want to harm and or/diminish the family and culture that they have projected for so many years. Why do I have more faith in their ability to professionally negotiate with their flight attendants than those that throw out these rumors? I believe the company can, and will, negotiate with a flight attendant union just like they do with the pilots union--with respect and professionalism. This is a giant global corporation now--not a small local airline. The company has grown in leaps and bounds through acquisitions and mergers. They have brought thousands of employees into the company. We can, and will continue to flourish even with a flight attendant union. The big difference will be our ability to know that our work rules, benefits, scope language, and all other aspects of our jobs will be agreed to by both us and the company. I cannot believe that our company would be vindictive and retaliatory against their flight attendants because we chose to have representation. That is not the company that so many talk about, is it?
