Sitting here in the hotel room in Ulysses, Kansas, doing a little bit of late-night contemplating. Its amazing that at the age of 60 (I dont like to admit that but I will) Im out here on the road again playing music, having even more fun doing it than I did when I was 25. The band is tight, the crowds are great, and oddly enough, the more hectic the pace becomes, the more I seem to like it. Not many people my age get the chance to do what Im doing. My intention is to squeeze every single drop of enjoyment out of every second Im out here. Theres no question its what I was meant to do. And on top of all that, coming home . . . is the best its ever been! Love to all.
