Sitting here peacefully listening as the rain is gently falling on the tin roof. The morning is still quiet as no one else here has awaken yet and the quietness gives me time to sit and peacefully spend time pondering over the many things in life that I have to be thankful for, a time for prayer ands time to meditate with my thoughts. Looks like we are in store for another wet day, but never the less, it is still a good day! I am hoping when I get to the shop this morning, that "Kit" will have found his way back home. He does not like rainy weather and much prefers the comfort and warmth inside the shop. If he does not return, I hope he is safe and is in a place that someone will love and take good care of him. I do miss him and his presence will definitely be missed, and I hope he has not met with any foul play and that he is dry and safe!! My grandson, Tucker, will be here tonight for a few day and we are all looking forward to seeing him!! Jon is expecting him in the morning and he will be so surprised when he gets here tonight, I do not plan on telling him that he will be here sooner and to let Tucker go into his room surprising him when he gets here, Jon does love him so much and it will make him very happy to see him!! Jon has been continually been improving, though he is still having a lot of pain in his leg, he is still staying pretty much in his room and his chair as it is still difficult for him to move around, he has been in the blood thinners now four a little over a month and thankfully I believe they are doing their job, it is just a slow process and the dangers of the blood clot and the discomfort will not go away until the blood clot is totally dissolved. But as always he is a fighter and never complains about the pain or the discomfort he is feeling, he just does what it takes to get well!!! Hopefully this will be behind us soon!! So blessed with each day we have with our precious son, he brings all of us much joy and love!!! His smile and joy can bring sunshine into any room!! What a blessing it has been to be his Mom!!! The rain brought me a busy day yesterday as there are a lot of weekend lake people here for the fourth and the rain and the lake is not a good thing and they get out and visit the shops!! Looking forward to another wet but good day!! There is always something in each day to be grateful for and we are in control of our happiness and we can look at each day and see all the beauty and the blessings it brings with its wonderful gift or we can see it with a different attitude and see the downside. Hoping all will see their gift, appreciate all the beauty, and find peace and happiness in this day!! Life may not be perfect, but there is always something to be thankful for and happiness must be grown in ones own garden, hoping today will give you all a reason to smile!!! Have a wonderful Saturday, the rain may be coming down so get out and dance in the rain!!!
