Small, growing, friendly tax and accounting office seeks an energetic part-time Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk to work with our Accounting team, 20-24 hours per week, with very flexible M-F scheduling. Ideal for those who need job flexibility, individuals who seek part-time work or those who are semi-retired. If you have a strong work ethic, consider yourself mature, dependable, and sharp, know QuickBooks-- and your voice "smiles" over the phone, then we want to hear from you. We offer a casual, business environment and stable employment. Administrative responsibilities include client contact, office organization, scanning documents, tax return assembly, etc. You will also answer phones, do light typing and filing, etc. Accounting responsibilities include assisting staff accountants with data entry, A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and journal entries via QuickBooks. Requirements: At least 1-3 years of admin/clerical experience in an accounting/finance environment Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, experience with other computer programs helpful Strong understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping principles and procedures Organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently Effective written and verbal communication skills Tax preparation experience a plus+++++ •Location: Lombard •Compensation: $11-15/hr based upon experience •This is a part-time job email : [email protected]
