Small town politics raises its UGLY head... Was doing some grading this morning to slope an area so water drains away from our garage and the town supervisor came by and told us to stop digging...we told him we were not digging...The digging had already been done another time, but because of all the recent rains we are just now dry enough to access the area to finish the area. So we had to call JULIE again and they will have to send out people from the utility companies.. (who have marked the area already as free from any lines, pipes, etc) to come out and mark it again. City hall is about 4 blocks away and they havent been able to send someone to ok or flag the area for the town...but an out of town utility marker has already been here. This BS is costing me money and is nothing but a technicality and a case of someone with a little authority letting it go to his head. I could understand if we were working a different area...but we were basically rearranging dirt that had already been dug from a few weeks ago. I have my bet on who will be the last to give the ok so this job can get finished.
