So David and I are celebrating Christmas in Thailand. We are at Pattaya, a city on the beach a few hours from Bangkok. In short, it is a really different way to celebrate Christmas. The day began at breakfast where we were greeted by the local version of a gingerbread house, this one made of square slices of whole wheat bread. They get credit for effort And then we spent the day at the beach where we rented two canvas chairs for the day for $1.25 and relaxed for the day. It is hard to take a selfie with a point and shoot camera but at least I got us both in the picture. So it was an odd Christmas but we are happy.
