So I dropped off Annabel at school and I went to get a café au lait. Eleanor decided to be up from 3 to 6 so I didnt get much sleep. Thus the coffee run. When I told the man that I wanted a café au lait, I also asked for a butt load of sugar. When I ask for sugar they never put enough in to where I can even taste it. So I thought a rephrasing of my request would let the worker know I wanted more sugar. Apparently people dont phrase it that way because he gave me an odd look and a slight smirk as he walked away. When he came back with my coffee he iterated, Here is your café au lait with an ample butt load of sugar. He chuckled. I gave him the appropriate amount of money. We exchanged our good days. I am now drinking my coffee with enough sugar to send a child on an neurotic high for at least two hours. Next time I will choose my words more carefully. Sip. Gag. Sip. Live and learn. :)
