So I have to share with you the wonderful thing that happened yesterday. I decided I needed to get out of the hospital for a while and decided to go the lunch at Olive Garden since we do not have one of those in Helena and I love pasta. I was seated and my server, (Thad, I think) came and asked I how was I doing today. I replied that I was doing pretty good and he asked what I was up to. I said that my husband was in the hospital from major surgery so I was just getting away for a while to have lunch. I gave him my order and the food and serve was great. Now here is the wonderful part. It brought tears to my eyes. As I was about finished with my meal, Thad my server, brought an envelop and placed it on the table. It had Get Well Soon on it and a smiley face. Thad said there is a little something for your husband in there from the staff. He continued that the manager wanted to get me a dessert and ask me to choose one of several items. Then indicated the manager would also like to send something for my husband and requested I choose from several items on the menu. As I was waiting for the rest of the food to be brought, several of the staff came up and wish my husband to get well soon and all the best. I was completely stunned, I mean totally blown away. Oh and by the way, in the envelope was a get well card signed by all the staff and a $30.00 gift card. There are no words to explain how this made me feel.
