So I tell you dont worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food, drink, and clothes. Doesnt life consist of more than food and clothing? Look at the birds. They dont need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your Heavenly Father feeds them. And you are fat more valuable to him than they are. (Matthew 6:25-26) Worrying about our needs accomplishes nothing and ignores the fact that God works to meet those needs. He will not let our needs overwhelm us. He cares for us more than we care for ourselves, and he will provide all we need at the right time. If God provides for the animal kingdom, He also will provide for us- we matter more to Him then the animals.
