So I was referred to an internist by my primary care doctor and they were supposed to call me with an appt date...instead I received my new patient packet along with my preset appt dates in the mail yesterday. Since the appt time did not work with my work schedule I called and simply asked if I might be able to come early or a little later. To which the lady said your appt is at ten are you gonna make or not? I said well my blood pressure has been very high so I need to be seen so let me see what I can do and she said well sounds to me like you need to get your priorities in line!!! Click!!! Talk about mad...needless to say I referred myself to another doctor and will be lodging a formal complaint with the office manager!! I work with inmates and I would never talk to them the way she spoke to me. She should be ashamed of herself!!!
