So Im registering one kid for jr high and one for high school and because my kids dont live with BOTH their biological parents the district needs a copy of my divorce decree proving custody. Am I the only one that thinks this is ridiculous??? Ive been the only one to register my kids since theyve started school and never moved out of the boundaries!!! What happens if parents were never married and they dont have one??? I dont think that its their business what is in my decree and being that its been 10+ years do you think I can find it??? Nope! I have to go to the court and pay for copies!
