So Ive been looking at maps and timetables and things and I want to do a hiking trip in the Wicklow/Dublin Mountains. Weekend of 24th/25th of January. Two options so far but Im open to suggests. 1. Blessington to Bray. 43km. Bus out ferocious early on Saturday, Dart home Sunday evening. Takes in Mullaghcleevaun, the Sally Gap and Tonduff. 2. Bus down to Brittas ferocious early on Saturday morning. Climb Seahan and follow the ridge around Corrig, Seefingan and Kippure (the one with the mast on top that you can see from Dublin). Then down into the featherbeds and follow the trails of the Dublin Mountain Way along the banks of the Dodder into Tallaght/Firhouse. Roughly 30km. Could be done as a gentle two day or a fairly monstrous single day. Whos in and which do you want to do (obviously both could be done on separate weekends if theres interest)?
