So, Linda picked up the sable boy from ACS and met me at Devine Vets to drop him off, he seems to be in a pretty bad way. Whilst there BOTH of the Animal Control officers were there, so naturally I said hello, and of course they remembered me. LONG STORY SHORT we have a new boy coming into rescue - he isnt a MIX, but then he isnt a German Shepherd either, I know nothing about this breed, but he has been in Devine Animal Shelter for several months, which is an outside kennel with a in roof. His story his owners had him with a big thick buckle collar tied up with a thin slip leash (the kind you get from the vets and cost maybe $0.50 - $1.00 - needless to say he snapped it, I have puppies that can chew through them within minutes. The first time the owners were fined and came to pick him up, the second time they wasnt interested. They have been trying to find him a home for several months. He is a great looking dog, very well mannered, with all the barking from the other dogs, he didnt bark once, anyway - basically I adopted him from the shelter so they can get him neutered and rabies and then I will be picking him up on Thursday. I would LOVE to get this boy adopted out QUICKLY. He is approximately 12-18mths old, knows Sit and is just very good natured.
