So...Police Officers are being warned to be on guard. To watch their surroundings. To be on extra alert, because they might be unjustly harmed or killed. Their wives might become widows. Their children might become fatherless. Their mothers might have to bury them. I wonder if Police Officers are paranoid. If they are wondering if theyll make it home to their families. While these may be everyday worries, the environment has surely heightened them. I wonder if while doing some thats a part of everyday life, something simple like getting coffee, if they fear that will be their last moment. Well, welcome to the life of a Black Man. Police Officers can take their uniforms off, but he cant do anything to mask the skin he was born in. And he shouldnt have to. If violence is wrong in America, violence is wrong abroad. If it is wrong to be violent defending black women and black children and black babies and black men, then it is wrong for America to draft us, and make us violent abroad in defense of her. And if it is right for America to draft us, and teach us how to be violent in defense of her, then it is right for you and me to do whatever is necessary to defend our own people right here in this country.-Malcolm X You cant continue to declare war on a group of people and think there wont be any casualties on YOUR side of the battle. #TheAgitator
